On Sunday we took a drive along some beautiful countryside outside Christchurch. First stop was Lyttleton, a port city about 30 minutes east of Christchurch. It's pretty run down and looks like a port city, i.e. lots of saloons. I expected an assortment of pirates and smugglers, but instead, it was deserted (although we did find a place for breakfast).
