On our last day in Tokyo we visited the emperor's castle and the wildlife just outside the city, pictured here. Just kidding...we went to Tokyo Disneyland! That was our one and only Disney experience (I've been to Florida when I was a kid, but this was Somchai's only Disney exposure.) We went with a couple of friends, and had a good time, although Somchai was terrified of just about every ride. It's the smallest of the Disney parks, and of course the most crowded, but one weird thing here is that the large majority of visitors were adults without children. I read somewhere that the Japanese love to go here repeatedly, and it's a particularly popular place to bring a date. Since we were all kid-less we fit right in.
