We then did some shopping at the just opened Mandalay Place, which was huge but not wacky enough to entertain us. That didn't of course stop us from shopping while we waited for the day's highlight, the early showing of Mama Mia! Even though it's a global phenomenon, somehow it never made it to Bangkok. We were dead tired by the time the show started, but it's so full of energy that it definitely kept us awake. But the audience was terrible, they just sat there when this screamed out audience participation. I think the later show probably attracts a more interesting audience, or at least I hope so.
