There is one obvious sight downtown, the Cathedral, built on top of the mosque once Granada was Catholicized. It's hard to photograph because it's surrounded by tightly packed neighboring buildings, but it's a very pretty structure, much more elegant than most brooding Spanish cathedrals. Unfortunately it was closed when we visited so we weren't able to see the interior, although the guidebooks say the interior sucks anyway.
