Here are some photos of the interior, (all stolen). In addition to being beautiful, it's also the burial place of Florence's leading lights. Michelangelo, Machiavelli, Galileo, Dante, etc. all have elaborate memorials atop their tombs.

Had dinner at the hotel's outdoor terrace restaurant, which had excellent food and a very nice buzz to it.
