Friday was a bit out of the ordinary tourist circuit. In a freak coincidence, Catherine's brother was competing in the Alcatel Olympics, a global sports contest for Alcatel's employeees, in Torremolinos, twenty minutes from our villa. So we all spent the day watching Alcatel's finest running and jumping around, which was surprisingly fun and a trip highlight for Somchai. He and his (now) wife then came back to the villa, for a little drinking by the pool. We all went to our last dinner in Mijas, at a quite elegant restaurant away from the town center with great views over to the Mediterranean. A fun and relaxing end to our trip.
